Yellow Irises…inspired by Charles Reid

Yellow Irises_adjThis was a study of loading two colors onto your brush and then creating a curved stroke using the entire brush head from tip to full width.  The result is a sinuous leaf-like shape, often incorporating the two colors.  This is a technique developed by the watercolorist, Charles Reid.
